This is an impressive system. Managing runoff is one of the most tedious tasks in growing, and this makes it effortless. All components are of high quality, the instructions are clear, and assembly is quick. I particularly like the Mars Hydro fabric pots included—they are taller and more slender than common brands, which makes Low Stress Training easier as I tie the branches to the sides.
It’s a very cost-effective solution for runoff management, plus the trays offer additional benefits like improved airflow around the pots. They also fit conveniently into saucers for standalone use. I’ve suggested to Mars Hydro that adjustable height and retractable tubing would be great additions, but overall, this is a perfect setup. Excellent work, Mars Hydro—definitely one of the best new products for 2026!

This is a great product; it does exactly what it says on the box. However, there’s one thing the instructions don’t explicitly mention: the pump features a built-in float or pressure switch. I initially thought my unit was faulty, but I realised it only activates when submerged in water. Once the collection tank fills to a certain level, the pump engages and runs until it reaches the low-level mark. It’s truly a “plug-and-play” system. It runs itself; you just need to empty your waste container or route the hose directly to a drain.
