I was using a regular LED quad board. I had it at 60 cm and 90 watts, and I was only getting 350 PPFD—plus, it got insanely hot! Then I decided to buy the FC1500 Evo. I tried it today and wow—no heat at all. At just 50% power (75 watts) and 60 cm, I got 450 PPFD, and it spreads light evenly throughout my whole tent. A really great buy!”
