lights. These light bars are not typically used on their own—they function as auxiliary lighting to
enhance specific parts of the light spectrum based on your plants’ needs.

supplemental LED light bars and has been continuously investing in this field for years. We offer the
most comprehensive ranges of supplemental light bars, including UV, IR, Blue, and Deep Red spectrums.

Using standalone supplemental lights — like UV, IR, Blue, and Deep
Red
— gives growers much greater control over light application and plant development,
compared to LEDs with fixed integrated spectrums.

Benefits include:

Customized Spectrum Adjustment: fine-tune your light recipe
for each growth stage to maximize efficiency and yield.

Energy Efficiency: avoid energy waste by only using targeted
wavelengths when necessary.

Flexibility: supplemental lights can be installed at custom
positions or embedded into Mars Hydro FC / FCE fixtures using their bracket system for optimal light
distribution.

Each light type plays a specific role during a plant’s life cycle — and timing matters. For specific
usage times, please refer to the chart at the bottom of this page.

IR Light:
Recommended for the flowering stage. Run 30 minutes daily
15 minutes before the main light starts, and 15 minutes after the main light turns off.

UV Light:
During the flowering stage, turn on for 10 minutes per hour
when the main light is on. Advanced users can gradually increase UV exposure based on the growth stage.

*Note: UV rays may irritate plants and cause damage, so they should not be used for long periods of
time.

Red Light:
Used throughout the flowering phase. Match the main light schedule (usually 12 hours ON / 12 hours OFF).

Blue Light:
Used throughout the vegetative stage. Synchronize with the main light schedule.

**Important:** The usage time for Blue and Deep Red light is typically synchronized with the main LED
light cycle.
If your main LED light cycle is 12 hours, Blue and Deep Red
should also be used for 12 hours.
If your main LED light cycle is 16 hours, Blue and Deep Red
should be used for 16 hours as well.

are essential for vegetative growth and flowering, and are easier to use since they sync directly with
your main LED light schedule, best for beginners.

440 nm

ADlite Blue

Blue light regulates plant morphology during the vegetative stage, promoting compact growth and sturdy stems, which benefits fruit development in later stages.

 

660 nm

ADlite Deep Red

Deep red light promotes flowering and fruiting in plants, resulting in larger, stronger flowers and fruits. It also enhances the color of flowers and fruits while improving the sweetness of the fruit.

 

365-370 nm

ADlite UV

Stimulates the production of secondary metabolites, such as flavonoids, which enhance plant resistance and contribute to increased THC yield.

730-745 nm

ADlite IR

Penetrates deeply into plant tissues, promoting stem growth. Moderate application of IR light can effectively induce flowering in photoperiod-sensitive plants.

ADlite UV - 365-370nm

UV

It is emitted by the sun and spans a range from 100 nm to 400 nm, which is invisible to the human eye.

ADlite IR - 730-745nm

IR

IR is non-visible light with a wavelength over 700 nm, longer than red light.

ADlite Red - 660nm

DEEP RED

The longer wavelength portion of red light, which is the most important spectrum for the flowering stage.

ADlite Blue - 440nm

Blue

Usually refers to the wavelength range of 400-500 nanometers (nm), which is efficiently absorbed by chlorophyll.

UV
(ADlite UV - 365-370nm)

It is emitted by the sun and spans a range from 100 nm to 400 nm, which is invisible to the human eye.

There are 3 types of UV light. UVA and UVB are important because they can penetrate the ozone layer. UVC can't reach Earth's surface.

Pros of UV

    Induces the production of secondary metabolites, such as flavonoids and anthocyanins, which enhance resistance to pests, stress, and diseases, and produce more THC.

Blue
(ADlite Blue - 440nm)
